Canadian Bushcraft is a Native-owned wilderness school located twenty minutes south of Peterborough Ontario, on the shores of historical Rice Lake. From one-day emergency survival seminars, to week-long wilderness treks, we teach it all. Our highly-experienced staff come from many walks of life, but bring together a fantastic wealth of knowledge regarding the land, its’ inhabitants and how to live within the woods and meadows of Canada.

Since 2008, Canadian Bushcraft has trained university students, military personnel, First Nations communities and the general public about wilderness living skills (also known as “Bushcraft”). Now expanding our repertoire, we offer classes as varied as; bow making, toboggan building, blacksmithing and wilderness cookery.
With our rustic facilities (bunkhouse, canvas tents and outdoor classroom), we can offer you a real, hands-on and comfortable chance to put yourself in the middle of nature, and see where the trails lead you.

Come, join us for a true Canadian wilderness experience.
